What it is like
HappyClicks has been around for years and holds dozens of games sorted into tap games, colouring, mazes and educational sets. It is not a keyboard smash toy; the youngest games need a finger or a mouse, and the site itself says its games are meant for grown-ups and children together. Display ads sit on every page, including around the games, which is why it is not on our shortlist for unsupervised play.
What we liked
- Dozens of games in clear categories: tap, colouring, mazes, educational
- Long-running site that many parents already know
- Honest about being for play together with a grown-up
What to know
- Display ads on every page, including around the games
- Not a keyboard smash toy; the youngest games still need aimed taps
- Busy layout with plenty of links to wander into
Verdict
Useful for supervised play; not a hand-it-over toy.
Best for: Older toddlers with a parent on the same sofa.
