What it is like
SmashKeys! is a single dark page that reacts to typing. It loads instantly and asks nothing of you, but it also offers little: no themes, no parent lock we could find, and a hint that it is "best in full-screen" rather than switching to fullscreen itself. It does what it says, and the bigger sites do the same with more care.

Verdict
Fine in a pinch; the leaders do everything it does and more.
Best for: A quick distraction when nothing else is loading.
